In just 2 days, I embark on a transformative journey to Austin, Texas, for an immersive mindset retreat. Picture this: intimate moments in nature, surrounded by people committed to the deep exploration of their inner selves. We’ll be doing somatic healing practices and intuitive mindset coaching – essentially, everything that I love.
But before I dive further into the details, let’s rewind for a moment. If you’re wondering who’s hosting this event and what’s in it for you, don’t worry – I’ve got you.
Back in late 2021, I felt a calling to join Nick Pags‘ Project Limitless group. After finalizing my divorce, investing in a breathwork course, continuous therapy, leaving my secure Federal Job, selling our home, navigating deep depression, and relocating twice, I realized how closed off I was from myself, grappling with parts of myself that remained elusive.
Prior to joining, Nick and I had a candid conversation, and his welcoming yet direct approach cut through the noise. I needed time to decide, knowing deep down that his coaching would challenge me. Spoiler alert: I joined. Little did I know that those months of group coaching would bring up parts of myself I wasn’t prepared to face, especially not in front of others. Brutal? Absolutely. Post-program, I decided to invest in further 1:1 coaching with Nick.
Moving to early 2022, our weekly 1:1 calls were breaking down the walls I placed around my heart. Each conversation peeled back layers of protective armor, revealing my parts of my soul – once curled up, now gradually becoming freer. Facing the mental and emotional challenges of hidden self-judgments, victimization, and unworthiness was brutal. But, it was also liberating. I can say I became a different woman from that experience.
Enter the present moment, its late 2023– Nick and Bea, Nick’s life partner and a cherished friend, are hosting a retreat. My body responded with a hell yes. These group settings radiate a unique energy, attracting people committed to vulnerability and personal growth.
Going into this retreat my intention is simple: be vulnerable, give myself permission to be seen, held, heard. While I advocate for vulnerability, I’ve also recognized my own reluctance to fully embrace it. I crave vulnerability, yet fear has kept me guarded in many aspects of my life. I love holding space for others but become shaky when it’s my turn to share.
So, here’s the payoff for you – I’m committed to vulnerably sharing my learnings, experiences, and personal growth in hope its helps you too. Because the truth is we can’t do this thing called life alone.
